This course is designed for managers at all levels with little or no formal training in business finance.
RATIONAL
This course aims to provide a basic understanding of the accounting procedures underlying the preparation and determination of financial reports and statements. It will enable participants to assess the performance of the entity allowing them to:
- More readily deal with financial executives and personnel
- Interpret and analyse external financial statements and internal financial management reports
- Evaluate the usefulness of financial accounting and reporting for strategic decision making providing a basis for improved profitability in future operations
